New Booking System for Tennis Courts, January 2024
Please note that as of January 2024, a new court booking system will replace the previous Skedda system and will apply to courts 1 and 2 only (the upper courts beside the playground). It will no longer be possible to place bookings on Courts 3, 4 or 5. To use the new ‘Acebook’ booking system for Courts 1 or 2 members will need to first register (‘sign up’) via the following link - https://www.myacebook.net/mobile/club_selection.php.
Once the member registers, the committee will confirm membership and the member will then be able to book a court by logging in, using their chosen username and password, at the above link.

Please note that tennis events listed below will go ahead in light rain but are likely to be cancelled when heavy rain or very windy conditions are forecast. There is usually a WhatsApp group for each event; the coaches will confirm in advance on the WhatsApp group whether the session will go ahead or is cancelled due to bad weather.
ADULT TENNIS
Social Tennis
Social Tennis is a great way to meet other members. The coach organises players into friendly matches. As places are limited, members are asked to pre-book their spot at social tennis via the WhatsApp group for this event. Social tennis takes place each Saturday with an hour for beginners from 11am to 12pm; and from 12pm to 1pm for more experienced players. The cost of €3 is payable to the organiser on the day.

TENNIS LESSONS FOR ADULTS
Adult lessons are available on a one-to-one basis from our coach, Al Waterson. Al is a highly-experienced coach who provides one-to-one lessons to all levels (beginners, intermediate and advanced) all year round. Members can contact Al directly on 087 7713147 to arrange a lesson.
Please note that for insurance purposes lessons are strictly for members only. Membership registration and payment is via this website only (see Membership tab above). The coaches do not take payment for membership, they only take payment for lessons.
JUNIOR TENNIS
TENNIS LESSONS
Weekly lessons for junior members take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week. The cost is €50 for 6 weeks (either 6 Tuesdays or 6 Wednesdays) or €10 per lesson. The fee is payable directly to the coaches. Places are limited. Contact Coach Teo on 085 1628988 to check availability and to get information on how to pay.

The lessons on Tuesdays and Wednesdays are organised by age group as follows (but this is just a guide, the coaches can discuss with you if a different age group or time suits better):
Age 4-6 years: 2pm - 2.45pm Tuesdays & Wednesdays
Age 7-9 years: 2.45pm - 3.30pm Tuesdays & Wednesdays
Age 9-11 years: 3.30pm - 4.15pm Tuesdays & Wednesdays
Age 11 +older: 4.15pm - 5pm Tuesdays & Wednesdays
Saturday Play and Stay – social tennis for juniors
Social tennis for kids (called Play and Stay) takes place on Saturdays. Junior members are given the opportunity to play fun tennis matches using the skills learned at their lessons. Coach Teo organises juniors into matches and fun group tennis games.
Play and Stay takes place on Saturday mornings from 11am to 12pm for junior members under 8 years of age; and from 12pm to 1pm for age 9 and over. The cost is €3 per child, payable to the coach on the day. There is a WhatsApp group for this event. Teo requests that slots are pre-booked as places are limited.
